New Fountain Dispenser serves over 100 beverage choices

ST. LOUIS – White Castle presents its first Coca-Cola Freestyle® machines at two St. Louis area restaurants! The Coca-Cola Company’s new proprietary fountain dispensing system – which serves more than 100 beverage choices – is now available for the first time at White Castle.
The sleek, stylish new fountains are touch screen operated, enabling people to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie brands including waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages. Cravers can choose from a wide variety of brands, including more than 70 diet and low-calorie beverages, more than 90 caffeine-free beverages and 80+ unique brands offered nowhere else. Fans of the Freestyle machine are creating and sharing their own experiences on the Coca-Cola Freestyle Facebook page.
White Castle invites customers to a happy hour celebration from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, December 9th at 5615 South Lindbergh Blvd. in St. Louis and 1789 Bowles Avenue in Fenton. All customers will receive a free 21-ounce soft drink cup so they can sample the more than 100 brands offered by Coca-Cola Freestyle. No purchase is necessary. The event includes giveaways, prizes, food and fun.
Media and local bloggers are invited to an exclusive preview from 1-2 p.m. Please contact Steve Zvonek at 614-228-5781 to RSVP.
“We have created a concept that is quickly becoming recognized as the soda fountain of the future – a representation of the way people will experience Coca-Cola beverages years from now,” said Gene Farrell, vice president and general manager, Coca-Cola Freestyle.
White Castle guests will enjoy beverages served from Coca-Cola Freestyle whether they dine in, carry out, or drive-thru.
“The Coca-Cola Freestyle dispensers are impressive because instead of levers or buttons the customer uses a slick-looking touchscreen to choose their favorite brands,” said Jamie Richardson, White Castle’s vice president of corporate relations. “Coca-Cola Freestyle allows us to serve our guests so many beverage options that we’ve never been able to offer before. The self-serve machines are simple for everyone to use — even adults have fun making their favorite drink.”
Both restaurants will host LIVE radiocasts during the happy hour event. The Fenton restaurant will host WIL-FM and KPNT-FM. While in St. Louis, WARH-FM and KSLZ-FM radio stations will broadcast from the restaurant parking lot.
