COLUMBUS, Ohio – White Castle, a family-run restaurant famous for its innovative steam-grilled-on-a-bed-of-onions Original Slider, has a special offer for those who crave its one-of-a-kind taste for Chicken Rings.

Until August 27, America’s first hamburger fast-food chain will offer 20 Chicken Rings for $4.99 in Original, Buffalo or Ranch seasoning with a choice of dipping sauce.

In addition to the Chicken Ring special, White Castle is offering a limited time only, Bacon Cheddar Chicken Breast Sandwich with Barbecue Sauce.

As part of White Castle’s yearlong 90th birthday celebration, commemorative Coke glasses also are available for purchase to recognize the 90-year partnership between White Castle and Coke. Customers can buy a commemorative 90th birthday Coke glass for 90 cents with the purchase of each soft drink, or separately for $1.90.

“White Castle introduced the hamburger to America 90 years ago and we’re known for creating the crave for the Original Slider,” said Lisa Ingram, Chief Operating Officer and fourth generation member of the Ingram family who own White Castle. “Chicken Rings were added to the menu in 2002. We want our Cravers to crave our Chicken Rings as much as they crave Sliders.”

The Chicken Rings are crispy on the outside with tender all white meat on the inside. The specials of 20 Chicken Rings for $4.99 and Bacon Cheddar Chicken Breast sandwich with Barbecue Sauce are available at all White Castle restaurants and through the company’s new online ordering system.
