COLUMBUS, OH - White Castle is proud to unveil its latest investment in Craver Nation, the renovated Castle at 4395 Lemay Ferry Rd. in St. Louis. The doors open to the public at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014.

“Our family has been serving Sliders since 1921, but we are always looking for ways to update our Castles to make sure they meet the needs of our customers,” said Lisa Ingram, president of White Castle and fourth generation family member. “We want to make sure that every visit to a White Castle, any time day or night, is a great one.”

The renovations include seating for 49 guests, a new kitchen, plus the newest décor that includes an open ceiling, artwork, stainless steel accents and accent glass. The White Castle at Lemay Ferry Rd. will offer Cravers delicious Sliders, Chicken Rings, Grilled Chicken Sliders and Crinkle-Cut Fries, but will also provide some friendly services, such as free Wi-Fi and flat screen monitors.

White Castle’s also known for its cult following of loyal customers who are called Cravers. In response to its most ardent fans, White Castle launched a social media loyalty program in May 2012 called Craver Nation. More than one million Cravers have joined the nation as Facebook Fans, founded on the loyalty to the Crave of the Slider.

White Castle’s renovated restaurant will employ 30 team members in the community. The region is home to 40 White Castle locations with the company opening its first restaurant in St. Louis in 1925.

White Castle’s famous fare is served 24 hours a day, seven days a week in most restaurants. Breakfast is served from midnight until 10:30 a.m. at participating locations. The full menu is available for online ordering at http://www.whitecastle.com/onlineordering.

The craving for White Castle began in 1921 when founder Billy Ingram first served The Original Slider® at his flagship restaurant in Wichita, Kansas. After 93 years in business the company remains family-owned. Fast-forward to today, White Castle’s success continues as it serves more than 1.4 million Sliders per day to the loyal Craver Nation. Earlier this year, the White Castle Original Slider was named Time magazine’s most influential burger ever in a poll of hamburger historians.
