LAST TWO WEEKS TO SUBMIT CRAVERS HALL OF FAME ENTRIES

Winners to join 147 previous inductees, including honorable celebrity Cravers

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Cravers hoping to be immortalized in White Castle’s Cravers Hall Of Fame have less than two weeks to make their case to the 92-year-old hamburger chain. The deadline for entries is July 31.

“Every year we receive hundreds of stories from across Craver Nation about memorable moments made in our restaurants or during adventures to feed the crave for our steam-grilled-on-a-bed-of-onions Sliders,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. “From Hollywood stars to New York City firefighters who detoured to a White Castle during the New York City Marathon in honor of a fallen friend, we honor the best Craver Nation has to offer.”

Cravers can submit original stories about their relationship with White Castle and why White Castle is meaningful to them at http://www.whitecastle.com/cravers/hall-of-fame/new. Stories are evaluated for originality, duration and extent of the “Crave.” Official rules are available at www.whitecastle.com/cravers/hall-of-fame-rules. Winning Cravers will be invited to Columbus, Ohio, to attend the Hall of Fame induction ceremony in October.

White Castle is counting down the days with stories and information about the Cravers Hall of Fame at the official White Castle Facebook page and on Twitter, @WhiteCastle.

About the Cravers Hall of Fame
Fondly known as Cravers, White Castle fans are known for their dedication to the Original Slider® and their love of White Castle. The Hall of Fame was created in 2001, and since that time nearly 9,545 Cravers have vied for the honor, but only 147 have been inducted, including honorary Cravers Kal Penn, John Cho, rock musicians The Smithereens, and even a Greek Orthodox priest who satisfied his crave after a 40-day religious fast. All inductees are preserved in the Hall of Fame section of the White Castle website.
